Thudarum worldwide box office collection day 4: After the emphatic Empuraan, Mohanal returned to the big screens the very next month with Thudarum, which is also scripting a success story at the box office. The Tharun Moorthy directorial, which also features Shobana, has minted Rs 69.5 crore in worldwide collections, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. With this, the Mohanlal thriller has got the better of Naslen’s Alappuzha Gymkhana. Here are the day 4 box office collection details of Thudarum.
Mohanlal’s Thudarum BO collection

Lucifer star Mohanlal starred in the lead role in Thudarum, directed by Tharun Moorthy. The latest Malayalam film, released in theatres on April 25, 2025, to an overwhelmingly positive response, with fans hailing it as the return of vintage Lalettan. The Malayalam film has already collected Rs 69.5 crore in worldwide collections, beating Alappuzha Gymkhana, which has earned Rs 68.08 crore till now. It needs to be noted that the Mohanlal-starrer beat Naslen’s sports comedy within just four days at the box office. The total earnings of Alappuzha Gymkhana, which hit theatres on April 20, 2025, as a Vishu release, are from 19 days at the box office.

But in Malayalam net collections, Alappuzha Gymkhana has minted Rs 38.56 crores, while Thudarum has made only Rs 30.89 crore.

With Thudarum garnering positive reviews and word of mouth, the Tharun Moorthy directorial is expected to continue its good run at the box office. The India net collection of Thudarum is at Rs 31.35 crore, while overseas collection stands at Rs 41.25 crore. Thudarum, which marked the onscreen reunion of Mohanlal-Shobana after more than a decade, opened to Rs 5.24 crore on Friday. The film further improved its good opening with Rs 8.45 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.2 crore on Sunday. It passed the first Monday test with Rs 7 crore collection.
