R Madhavan and Dia Mirza starrer Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein received its due love after the film was re-released in cinemas in 2024. The audience showered love and demanded a sequel. R. Madhavan, recently seen in Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, opened up about the possibility of a sequel to Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein.

R. Madhavan on Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein sequel

After the re-release of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein in cinemas, fans have been demanding a sequel to the film. They want to see another part of Maddy and Reena's story. But is the sequel on the cards for real? Speaking to Mid-Day, Madhavan said, "They ask me too. I haven’t found anything concrete to either do Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein 2 or Tanu Weds Manu 3. It’s all speculation." Guess, fans need to wait a bit longer to get an update on the sequel. 

R. Madhavan on meaningful cinema

The actor, who is selective about his work, said he would rather choose a few good films than do repeated performances. 

“Early on in my career, when I heard people say that if it is an Aamir [Khan] film, the content is bound to be good — that’s something I was dying to have people say about my work. And I have tried to make those choices,” he said.
