Ouseppinte Osiyathu, featuring senior Malayalam actor Vijayaraghavan in the lead role, has landed on OTT nearly two months after its theatrical release. The Malayalam drama film, which also features Malik actor Dileesh Pothan, Kani Kusruti and Zarin Shihab, is now available on Prime Video but on rent. Ouseppinte Osiyathu on OTT
Ouseppinte Osiyathu, which was released in theatres on March 7, has made its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 1. However, the latest Malayalam film is only available to rent on the streaming giant. Viewers will have to pay Rs 149 to watch the movie now. Currently, the film is only available in Malayalam with English subtitles.
Ouseppinte Osiyathu plot and cast
Vijayaraghavan appears in the titular role of Ousepp in the film, which traces the relationship between the patriarch and his three sons. A certain issue causes tension between them and they are forced to look for a solution. The film is set in Idukki.
Filmmaker-actor Dileesh Pothan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Hemanth Menon play the three sons. Kani Kusruti, who shot to global fame with All We Imagine as Light, Zarin Shihab of award-winning Aattam fame, and Lenaa, also appear other in other key roles. Maygoor Films has produced Ouseppinte Osiyathu.

Several Malayalam films have made their digital premieres on OTTplay Premium in recent days. Arjun Ashokan’s Bromance, which also stars Mathew Thomas, Mahima Nambiar, and Sangeeth Prathap and Shyam Mohan of Premalu fame, is now streaming on SonyLiv and OTTplay Premium. Basil Joseph's thriller Pravinkoodu Shappu is another Malayalam film to have made its OTT premiere in April. The film follows a cop as he tries to unravel the truth after a toddy shop owner is found dead one night.
