Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film with Nahas Hidhayath, I’m Game, has been creating significant buzz in recent days after it announced that Antony Varghese Pepe and Tamil filmmaker-actor Mysskin will also be joining the project. Now, the film has gone on the floors. Here are all the updates about I’m Game, including when the Salute star will be joining the shoot.

Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game begins

Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game was officially launched on May 3 with a traditional pooja ceremony. Most of the cast and crew of the upcoming film attended the ceremony, the pictures of which have landed online. Antony Varghese Pepe, who has starred in acclaimed films such as Jallikattu and the more recent Daveed, was seen lighting the lamp. Mysskin was also in attendance at the ceremony. But in the photos shared online, lead star Dulquer Salmaan was missing.

Reports suggest that Dulquer Salmaan is likely to join the shoot of I’m Game only in June after the May schedule of his upcoming Telugu film, titled Aakasam Lo Oka Tara. The shooting for I’m Game will reportedly be held in Thiruvananthapuram.

I’m Game cast, crew details

I’m Game is helmed by Nahas Hidhayath, whose previous venture was the action thriller RDX: Robert Dony Xavier, which starred Shane Nigam along with Antony Varghese and Neeraj Madhav. With Antony Varghese joining I’m Game in a pivotal role, it marks the second collaboration between the director and actor.

Tamil filmmaker-actor Mysskin, whose directed films such as Mugamoodi, makes his Malayalam acting debut with the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer. Mysskin later started acting in films too, such as Vijay Sethupathi’s acclaimed Super Deluxe. Apart from Dulquer, Pepe and Mysskin, the rest of the cast for I’m Game have not been revealed

On the technical front, Jimshi Khalid is the cinematographer, while Chaman Chakko is the editor for the film, which will have music by Jakes Bejoy. Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films is backing the project, which is his 40th film. I'm Game is touted to be an action-packed film, much like RDX.
