Vijay Deverakonda is a man who is quite daring and does not mince his words one bit. His bold speech at the Retro pre-release event in Hyderabad and words about the India-Pakistan war have shocked one and all. Going into details, Vijay Deverakonda attended a promotional event of Suriya's new film Retro in Hyderabad and praised the Ayan actor to the sky, stating that he always likes the films Suriya does and wants to have a career like him.

But everyone was taken aback when Vijay started talking about the current war situation in the country. Vijay started by stating that he is deeply disturbed by the Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

"We are going through some testing times in the country. I am deeply disturbed by the terror attack, and a country like Pakistan, which cannot even handle its internal issues, has the guts to attack India. This is so senseless, and I want to make it clear that Kashmir belongs to India, and Pakistan needs to understand this," said Vijay Deverakonda.

Adding further, the Pelli Chupulu star stated that India is a very powerful country and does not even need to go to war with Pakistan, as they cannot handle us. They are already in so many problems within their country and will soon revolt against their government. This speech of his has caught the attention of one and all. 

Vijay Deverakonda calls Suirya his inspiration

Vijay is one of those few actors who has always spoken his mind at various film events, and now once again, he has made it clear that India is a far superior country and will stamp its authority even if it goes to war against Pakistan. Vijay also wooed the audience with his words about Retro as he stated that the film's trailer has impressed him big time.

"Whenever Suriya anna does these dark roles, I love him. I was so impressed by the trailer, and Suriya is like a brother, and when he wanted me to support the film, I was so happy. Pooja Hegde looks super cute in the film, and I cannot wait to watch the film on the big screen," ended Vijay.

Retro is all set to hit the screens on May 1, 2025, on the same day as Nani's HIT 3. There is a lot of hype for both these films, and we need to see how these films fare when they release. Pooja of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo fame plays the female lead in Retro.
