Vijay Varma has shared behind-the-scenes from Matka King wrap-up party and it is minimalistic but says a lot. Right from introducing gambling with the help of cards to the cake being shaped like a matka, which forms an important part of the story, everything about the wrap-up party screamed cool. Interestingly enough, Vijay also gave fans a glimpse of his look in the web series. He is seen with a moustache, and a single strand of hair touching his forehead. The Bamfaad actor was seen in a grey striped shirt with navy blue pants, thus hinting that his styling will also be unique throughout the show. He cut the cake along with his co-actors Siddharth Jadhav and Kritika Kamra. Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur joined in for the celebrations, too.

Matka King is a story set in Mumbai in 1960s. It was when cotton trade was at peak, when a man introduced gambling through matka. In times when only the rich and elite believed in gambling, this man introduced the matka method (chits inside matka to test the commoners' luck), thus ending the class divide in something like gambling. The same shaped the future for what we would know as Teen Patti, among other card-gambling games.
