Vishwambhara is Chiranjeevi's new film that has been in the making for over a year now. The fantasy drama features the gorgeous Trisha Krishnan of Athadu and Varsham fame as the female lead. After a gap of 20 years, Trisha is teaming up with Chiranjeevi for Vishwambhara. The last time the duo shared screen space was in A.R. Murugadoss's Stalin, which was released way back in 2006.

As Trisha celebrates her birthday on May 4, 2025, the makers of Vishwambhara revealed the first look of Trisha from the film. The star heroine plays Avani in the big-budget film and looks gorgeous in a saree. Be it her makeup, grace, or screen presence, Trisha looks like a million bucks in the new poster of Vishwambhara.

The news is that Trisha is playing a unique role and will be seen as someone who has a fatal connection to a galaxy of stars. Vassishta, who last made Bimbisara with Kalyan Ram of Patas fame, is directing Vishwambhara. This is the first time that a Chiranjeevi film has been delayed this much.

Vishwambhara faces delay to VFX issues

A few months ago, the makers released a new teaser of the film, which received a lot of trolling due to the tacky VFX. So, the Tagore star, Chiranjeevi, ordered new visuals, and the work has now been assigned to a foreign company, which is the reason for the delay.

As the release date is not yet locked, the OTT rights to the film have also not yet been finalized. On the other hand, Trisha has a massive fan following in the Telugu states and has delivered some memorable hits like Krishna and Bujjigadu in Telugu.
