HIT 3 Review
HIT 3 is the third instalment in the HIT franchise, with the first two parts starring Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh, respectively. Things have gone to the next level as the producer of the HIT franchise, Nani, takes on the lead role in HIT 3, and boy, he has smashed it out of the park. Director Sailesh Kolanu, who last made Saindhav with the Sankranthiki Vasthunnam star Venkatsh, deliver s an impressive thriller, and Nani's stellar performance makes all the difference.
The basic theme of the HIT franchise is simple: a psycho killer is on the loose, and the cops, played by various leads in different parts of the series, try to nab them. The same happens in HIT 3, but it's the new-age Nani that makes things work big time. The first half of HIT 3 is all about setting up the premise, while the latter half is dedicated solely to action.
Compared to the earlier parts, the twists and turns in HIT 3 are not as strong. HIT and HIT 2 had amazing investigative sequences, but here, the screenplay is more straightforward, as the focus is to showcase the Jersey actor and action in a new avatar altogether. While this aspect shines, the slow-burn drama and suspense are somewhat missing.

However, that doesn’t take away from the experience. HIT 3 is one of those rare Telugu films that doesn't beat around the bush and delivers exactly what it promises. There’s a middle path in the film, as the hero’s aggression, rude behavior, and outlook on life are all justified in a superb manner. The last half hour of the film is packed with surprises, and the pulsating action is topped off by exciting cameos that are whistle-worthy. The final scene, which introduces a star hero as the lead in HIT 4, gets the loudest cheer.
That said, one might feel that the violence in the film is a bit excessive. At one point, the villain feels too weak compared to Nani's onslaught, and too much happens without enough resistance.
Coming to the performances, Nani is taking his career to another level with each film. Having started with boy-next-door roles in films, Astha Chamma and Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha, his rise as a star peaks in HIT 3. His stylish avatar, powerful entry, and bold film choices have firmly established him as an action star in Telugu cinema. HIT 3 works primarily because of him. A fan of Nani? stream his memorable films, Paisa, Majnu, and Yevade Subramanyam on OTTplay Premium.

Coming back to the review, Srinidhi Shetty makes her Telugu debut and plays two contrasting roles, delivering an impressive performance. Her chemistry with Nani is crackling, and they look adorable on screen. The reveal of her character in the second half is particularly cool.
Prateik Babbar also makes his Tollywood debut and impresses in a negative role. He is given a meaningful character and shines in it. Komalee Prasad, a regular in the franchise, returns in the third part and does well. Rao Ramesh and others play their parts decently, but it is Nani who leads the pack, with the cameos at the end standing out as top-notch.
Mickey J Meyer composed the music, and all the songs are neatly integrated into the narrative without interrupting the flow. However, the background score is a bit underwhelming—more pulsating music could have elevated the experience.

As a producer, Nani has invested well in the film, which is evident in the terrific camera work. The entire second half takes place on a massive set, and the work done to enhance it is superb. The action choreography is innovative and fresh for Telugu cinema, each sequence is well designed.
The dialogues may be slightly over the top, but the production design is impressive. Overall, HIT 3 lives up to all the hype. Time and again, Nani proves that he delivers minimum-guarantee content, and he does it once again with HIT 3. His career graph is set to climb even higher, and director Sailesh Kolanu ensures that the HIT franchise will continue reaching new heights. HIT 3 lands well and is a treat for action movie lovers. It’s sure to clock big numbers at the box office.

HIT 3 Verdict
On the whole, HIT 3 is a stylish action thriller that showcases Nani in a never-before-seen avatar. The film starts on a slow note, but once it does, the raw and rustic action and star-studded cameos engage you thoroughly.
