Despite making Rs 1000 crore at the box office, the film was hated by many, and they termed the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film toxic. But that did not disappoint the director, as he got to direct none other than Prabhas for Spirit.

Sandeep Vanga starts casting for Spirit

Spirit was announced long ago and has been in pre-production for close to a year now. We at OTTplay have come to know that Sandeep Vanga is done with the script and has started casting for the film. The news in Telugu film circles is that Prabhas has approached a very popular actor in Tollywood to play one of the villains in the film.

We have also come to know that the Mr. Perfect actor, Prabhas, has given seven months of his dates to the film and will shoot non-stop for Spirit. One of the sources close to the film tells us that the shooting is likely to go on the floors in the second week of June 2025.

Most of the shoot will happen in Thailand and Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, as per the news. Harshavardhan Rameshwar, the one responsible for the film's background score, revealed in a recent interview that 70% of the BGM has already been locked and will be played during the shoot to help actors perform better.

Prabhas is also busy with The Raja Saab and Fauji

The leading lady of the film is yet to be announced, and we need to see who will get the lucky chance to romance Prabhas in the film. On the other hand, Prabhas has two other films that he needs to wrap up before taking Spirit on the floors. One of them is The Raja Saab with Mahanubhavudu fame Maruthi. Prabhas will be seen in a double role in this horror thriller, which is almost done with its shoot, except for a few weeks.

Apart from The Raja Saab, Prabhas also has Fauji with Hanu Raghavapudi of Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha and Sita Ramam fame. This film is also stuck with its shoot, and the schedules got disrupted as Prabhas injured his knee. He took some time off and left for Europe, and is now finally back and will start shooting again. So, he needs to wrap up these films before he takes Spirit on the floor. Let's see what happens.
