Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan were recently seen in Kesari Chapter 2 and Jewel Thief, respectively. The actors were last seen together in Tashan, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. A new report mentioned that the actors will be reuniting after 17 years, and this time the film will be directed by the ace filmmaker, Priyadarshan.

According to a Hindustan Times report, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan will be seen together in a film, directed by Priyadarshan. If the report is to be believed than the actors will reunite on the on screen after 17 years. 

The film is an edge-of-the-seat thriller, as the report mentioned, "It’s a nail-biting and entertaining thriller film. Helmed by Priyadarshan, it will leave the audiences on the edge of their seats!”

The source also added, "Akshay and Saif have always enjoyed working with each other and admired each other’s work. The moment they read the script, they knew they were on board." As per the portal, the film is likely to go on floors in August 2025 and is scheduled for a release in 2026.

Akshay is all set to be seen in a Priyadarshan film, Bhooth Bangla. The film has elements of suspense, horror, and humor, possibly inspired by black magic and mythology, including elements from the Mahabharata and the Vedas. The movie also features Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 2, 2026.
