Tourist Family box office collection day one

Amid films that has violence and bloodshed, like a breath of fresh air comes Tourist Family starring Sasikumar and Simran in the leading roles. After Kudumbasthan which released earlier this year, comes yet another a comedy family drama Tourist Family. The film is directed by debutant Abishan Jeevinth.

On the first day of release, Tourist Family has collected Rs 2 crore at the domestic box office. With positive reports flooding for the film, it is expected that the footfall increases for Tourist Family over the weekend. The film also faces stiff competition from biggies like Retro and HIT 3.

Tourist Family is produced by Million Dollar Studios, and also stars Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Shankar, Ilango Kumaravel, MS Bhaskar, Bagavathi Perumal and others. It revolves around a Sri Lankan Tamil family of four who illegally come to Chennai to settle down in the hope to have a new and good life.
