Housefull 5's latest song, Laal Pari, crooned by Yo Yo Honey Singh, is out, and the focus is on Jacqueline Fernandez. This mainly happens because among all the actresses - Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, and Soundarya Sharma - she is the only one in a red dress almost throughout the song. However, it is Akshay Kumar who, with his typical expressions, steals the show. Here, watch the track...

Laal Pari all about Akshay Kumar-Jacqueline Fernandez

The makers have clearly wanted the focus on Jacqueline Fernandez in the song, Laal Pari. Unfortunately, though, she is not as impressive as one would have expected. In trying to be size zero, Jacqueline loses her usual charm and just ends up being a forced centre of attention in the Housefull 5 song.

In comparison, Aitraaz actor Akshay Kumar steals the spotlight with him being his comic self, even if it happens briefly. Akshay's weird facial expressions take the song to a whole new level.

Housefull franchise continues with newer faces

Housefull 5 continues with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. Raavan actor Abhishek Bachchan joins the crew with Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Johnny Level, Chunky Pandey, Shreyas Talpade and Dino Morea. Among the women, Chitrangda Singh is also the newest entrant. The Tarun Mansukhani directorial is scheduled for June 6 release.

Akshay Kumar, in the news

Akshay Kumar's latest movie offering is Kesari: Chapter 2. This explores one of the darkest chapters of Indian history, for it retells the tale of Jallianwalah Bagh massacre but with a new perspective. The film has entered Rs. 100 crore club worldwide but struggles at the Box Office on the domestic front.

Akshay is making headlines for two more movies, mainly his upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla and classic comedy film, Hera Pheri 3 (which releases two decades after Phir Hera Pheri). Both helmed by Priyadarshan, while Bhooth Bangla features him as the central character, Hera Pheri 3 brings back the iconic trio of Akshay as Raju, Paresh Rawal as Ganpatrao Baburao Apte, and Suniel Shetty in the role of Shyam. While both the movies are much-awaited, fans are especially curious about Hera Pheri 3 because it is a movie that has made many 90s kids' childhood special.
