Raid 2 trailer is out

The 2-minute and 34-second trailer of Raid 2 begins with Ajay Devgn as IRS officer Amay Patnaik. He looks promising and fearless as he is set to target a white-collar criminal, Dadabhai (Riteish Deshmukh), in a high-stakes battle against a Rs 4,200 crore scam. The trailer showcases a captivating narrative between the two actors, full of thrills and suspense. Apart from Ajay Devgn, Deshmukh's promising new avatar as an influential politician seems manageable. On the other hand, Vaani Kapoor is all set to showcase her acting talent in the film.

Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, it is a Panorama Studios production crime thriller film. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film is set to release theatrically on 1st May 2025.

Raj Kumar Gupta on Raid 2

In the exclusive chat with OTTplay, Raj Kumar Gupta was asked about Raid 2. He shared, “I cannot tell you where the story is going right now. That is something we will talk about when we meet before the release. I can tell you that the movie is right now at the editing stage. We have wrapped up the filming, and right now we are in the process of editing it. So now I can only tell you that much about Raid 2.”

Praising Ajay, the director added that he has realized Ajay is a very intelligent actor since Raid, and he knows what kind of film he is doing. 

"He is always in character, whichever part he is playing. He is someone who is always prepared on the sets. He is well aware of the film, of the surroundings, the milieu of the movie, and more," Gupta added. 

Meanwhile, Raid 2 also stars Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial and Yashpal Sharma among others and is set to be released on May 1, 2025.
